This unit produces up to 500 lb. of 3/4" x 5/16" x 3/8" nugget ice in a twenty-four hour period. Nugget ice is chewable and slow-melting for reliable dispensing and is ideal for use in many different types of applications. Due to its small footprint, you can rely on this combination ice and water dispenser to make the most of limited counter space or floor space when used with a dedicated equipment stand (sold separately). Its specially designed contoured sides ensure greater breathability in tight spaces and allow the use of an external air filter.
Cleaning and maintaining your combination ice and water dispenser has never been easier than with Meridian®. The durable stainless steel evaporator and exterior panels ensure ease of sanitation and greaseless bearings reduce the need for maintenance. In addition, the large, removable sink and grill and large dispensing area make it easier to clean the hard-to-reach places. Great machine. Compact and quiet. There is an easy on/off switch hidden in the front that allows us to turn off the sensors when cleaning the machine. I only wish we had an option to switch between shredded ice and slightly larger cubes.

Very poor build quality. left over parts inside the machine. Multiple leaking internal fittings mostly because they were only finger tight. The clinch nuts, where used were poorly installed and turned when the screw was inserted. Half of the sheet metal screws were stripped and needed to be replaced. All of the screws for packaging were cross threaded and damaged the clinch nuts and had to be re-tapped. 2 of 4 internal ice maker bolts are cross threaded. These cannot be fixed because the refrigeration lines block them. Half of the enclosure screws that go into clinch nuts were cross threaded and needed to be repaired. If this was made in China or India I could understand but made in the USA and priced at over $, no way. Lastly the water dispense does not work from the fron panel. Either this was a return or Scottsman has big problems.

Works well. Came shipped low on refrigerant apparently as we had to have a service call from Scotsman right away to make it produce enough ice; not a fault of webstaurantstore.

Hello. This machine is small and quite. Very easy to use with the motion off and on, it is very easy to clean too. I would recommend this item!
Good machine for a small office. Capacity usually keeps up as secondary ice maker for large office area. It makes the crushed ice that you get in many restaurants. It can be a little difficult reading clear acrylic cups or glass. The trick is to hold hand around the cup to create shadow, it will dispense just fine. Note, these machines are not water coolers, just water dispensers, you want to get ice first then water to chill it.
I like this ice machine and water dispenser. Easy to use and install. Make sure you check the drain tube in the machine before installing it! Mine had come loose during shipment and leaked water after being installed. An easy fix, but it took a little while to figure out the problem.
