The Formicidae AKA the ant. These tiny intruders enter your home in search of food and water for their colony and queen, and before you know it, they can turn into a big problem. That's why we put almost sixty years of ant research into designing a way to beat ants using a combination of products and non chemical tips. The result is the Raid Defense System. Beating ants starts by preparing for the attack. Before you begin, clean the area. Then, cover any exposed food, water, and dishes. Now that you're ready to attack, remove all children and pets from the room. Grab the Raid Ant Killer Spray and shake well before use. While holding the spray upright, press button to spray the ants you see and the trail they're following. After spraying, leave area and continue to keep pets and children away until spray has dried. Spray will continue killing ants for up to four weeks unless it's wiped up. Use Raid Ant Baits to kill the ants you don't see. To begin, separate the bait stations. Then, place baits where ants have been seen, including under the kitchen counters and inside cabinets under sinks. For heavier infestations, use additional baits in the surrounding areas. Also, do not place baits in areas already treated with sprays. Raid Ant Baits work when ants bring the bait back to their colony, so don't kill the ants leaving the bait. They are on their way to killing their queen and colony. Replace bait stations every three months. As quickly as one ant colony is defeated, another is forming, so once ants are out of your home, use Raid Max Bug Barrier to keep them out. To use: unlock trigger, pull two to three feet from surface, then squeeze trigger to spray area until its moist but not dripping. Once finished, lock trigger and keep children and pets away until the area is dry. Remember, the best way to beat ants is to never have to do battle with them, so here are a few tips to help you avoid future invasions. For example, seal cracks and crevices around entryways to keep ants out. Store snacks or pet food in sealed storage containers or Ziploc bags. Control an ant problem with these SC Johnson Raid® 697329 ant baits. These baits will work for up to three months before needing replaced and are child resistant for worry-free use. Each bait has ant food laced with poison. The ants are attracted to the bait and they carry it back to their nest, thereby killing both the ants that come out as well as those that remain in the nest.
Each package contains 8 baits, and for best results all 8 should be put out at once. Ideally, each trap should be place on a surface in a corner or on a path they usually take, and with the adhesive back you can even stick them under counters. They begin to work within hours to control your pest situation. Use these baits in any indoor area you are having an ant problem to eliminate the infestation.
