If you want to keep you team safe and the cutting board in place this is the product. we have 4 of them and they are always being used and then we throw it in the dishwasher and use it again. they are perfect and i wouldn't cut on a cutting board without one under it.

We love the Saf-T-Grip Mat! We’ve had 2 of these and they last forever! Works really well on our stainless steel tables. Dishwasher safe so it’s super easy to clean or you can just wipe it off with a wet towel.

I can't believe I just found out about this product. It is so nice to not have your cutting board sliding around while working with sharp knives. Super Impressed!!!! Pairs great with the 15"x20" synthetic rubber cutting boards webstaurant stocks.

Overall, the board-mate performs as advertised. Useful and approved alternative to the (wet) bar towel method, and safe to run through commercial dishwashers. Specifically, in a commercial setting with stainless steel counters, the material provides excellent slip resistance against the surface. However, there are a couple caveats. First, the cutting boards placed on top need to be fairly true (i.e., not warped). While the mat remains somewhat effective with warped boards, it is prone to spinning and or slipping. Second, the efficacy of the tackiness decreases with liquids (e.g., water, sanitizer, etc.). Lastly, the mat itself is a lot thinner than I imagined. On a set of digital calipers it clocked it at 1.5mm (~3/50"). However, the thinness of the mat aides in its portability. It is easily rolled up and unrolled without curling. Outside of its intended use, the mat works well as a base to secure sharpening stones. It is especially effective with stones that have rubber feet/bases when wet. I have successfully used this mat to secure Shapton waterstones and DMT stones on the duo base with magnetic adapter.
