This plate is great. It washes well in the dishwasher and despite my best efforts I have not been able to stain it. Ketchup didn't stain it, I wet turmeric and that didn't even work. At the time of purchase I couldn't find matching bowls but I also bought a sample of the Acopa foundations white narrow rim melamine plate and the white looks the same to me. So if this line doesn't carry bowls, I know you can get rimless bowls in the acopa foundations line that would go great with this one. If you watch my video I put a piece of cheddar cheese on it just to reference the size. There is no comparison when you look at melamine you can purchase in a normal store versus the durability of the restaurant quality. So if you have kids and you want indestructible, all 3 of the acopa melamine plates I tried were outstanding.
