Quickly Cut a Variety of Foods

A continuous feed chute means you can process large amounts of produce directly into a separate container, eliminating the need to stop and empty a batch bowl. The large 6 7/8" full moon hopper gives you the space you need to process bulky ingredients like a head of lettuce or cabbage, while the smaller 2 5/16" cylindrical hopper makes it easy to process long, narrow produce like zucchini and carrots.

Easy to Operate

With 2 push button controls, operating this food processor couldn't be any easier! Simply press the green "on" button to get the 1 1/2 hp motor running at 425 RPM and press the red "off" button when the job's done.

Safe, Ergonomic Processing

A sturdy metal handle gives you excellent leverage so you can easily push produce through the large hopper while the black pusher does the same for the small hopper, ensuring that operation is as smooth and safe as possible.

Immediate Slicing and Grating

This machine comes with a 3mm slicing disc and a 3mm grating disc to get you started. There are also over 40 discs available (sold separately) for this unit so you can handle every conceivable vegetable prep task! Whether you want to julienne, dice, or even cut french fries, this unit accepts the discs needed to get the job done.

One of the hardest working electric machines in any restaurant kitchen is the food processor. From cutting butter into pastry dough to dicing tomatoes for salsa, these versatile machines are great labor-savers. But, which processor is right for your restaurant? The first thing to think about when selecting a food processor is what processing tasks you need to perform. If you're primarily chopping, kneading, and pureeing food, with occasional small batches of grating, slicing, and shredding, a batch bowl processor is what you'll need. If your main use is vegetable preparation, or shredding cheese, a continuous feed processor is what you'll want to purchase. And if you need maximum versatility, you can buy processors with both a batch bowl and a continuous feed head. Make sure you check into the blades and discs that come with your processor, or are available for purchase later. Some manufacturers have a broad range of discs to serve almost any processing need and others just have a few. When shopping for processors on our site, you'll find information on what blades come with a processor in the description, and you'll find other discs available in the companion items. The next thing you'll need to consider is how much you will be using the machine. Batch bowl processors come in sizes from 3/4 qt. all the way up to 20 qt., but even processors with similar batch bowl sizes can vary in utility. Check out the horsepower ratings and compare the build of the units. Units with higher horsepower and heavier-built units are preferred for long running times and more difficult tasks like shredding cheese. If salsa is your signature item and you're dicing vegetables several hours a day, a heavy base, high horsepower continuous feed machine is going to be your best choice. Also, when considering vegetable prep processors, consider the size of the chute. Some have smaller chutes and some larger units will allow you to shred entire heads of cabbage all at once. If you want an easy way to compare processors, check out our food processor buying guide. We have detailed comparisons of all of our units, an overview of various processing plates, and also printable charts showing the capacity of each machine. Awesome piece of equipment. We use this for so many things. Many different blades and cutters for different uses. This is quality built and we have had ours for over 7 years with no problems. Expensive but if it lasts turns out to be not that expensive. Definitely recommend.
this is an excellent machine. It saved me so much time prepping from dicing apples to cooked beets. Yes disks are pricy but if you think about how much faster you do so you do more things at same time. Clean ups very minimal not many parts I love it. Simple to use and great item. We couldn't be more happy.
This thing is a little pricey but saves you so much time which lowers your payroll. Highly recommend. can't even think about not having it now after getting used to it
We've had this item for 7 months and I think we've kept it in storage for about 2 months. It's a total waste. yes it's fast but using 5/8" blades it basically turns every vegetable we use into mush. We called Robot Coupe to see if we were using it properly and their answer was "yeah, it's a problem that we're working on." Save money and get a different brand instead.

Honestly impressed. This machine does exactly what we needed: dicing mass quantities of potatoes and onions in no time. We save over two hours of labor a day, minimum. This machine has already paid for itself several times over. Easy to use, easy to clean, and provides consistent cuts. It's not perfect. It is bulky and somewhat top heavy. The attachments are not cheap either. Nonetheless, this machine has been so popular with the prep cooks that we purchased one for our other location. A word to the wise: triple check that your attachment will fit before you order it, as there are several closely related models that do not necessarily have interchangeable parts. Overall, extremely satisfied with this purchase. Note: the only real difference that I've noticed between the CL50 and the CL50 Ultra is the stainless steel base versus the polycarbonate. I feel that it was worth the extra for the stainless base, but your mileage may vary.
