This thing is a beast! Everything that we used to do on the mandolin, we now do with this. It has saved us hundreds of hours of labor. Seems durable too. We have sliced a lot of butternut squash with it and it doesn't show any sign of slowing down.

the slicing disc works just fine, I only wish it was a bit bigger for a thicker slice. It is very sharp and slices fruits and veggies in no time (have not tried meets or any other food)

These are very nicely made Discs. I have a Robot Coupe R2N and love it, it is so fast you have to make sure you have a container under it WOW. These discs are also cheaper on this site. I would suggest you buy them from this site, saves time because they are the cheapest.
