Reber Electric Tomato Mill - 3/4 hp, 600W

This could be the best tomato mill available. It came with a missing piece and customer service promised to resolve this, but has failed to do so. Also it makes a lot of noise. Customer service cannot tell me how to check the oil level or what type of oil is recommended. I like the machine, but am disappointed with customer service so I give it one star.

Workmanship issues. Damaged products. This is the third attempt at receiving a product from distributer Omcan. This last shipment was guaranteed to have been opened, inspected, and free of workmanship errors and damage. Wrong. Workmanship: Fitment with spring on nylon driver is too tight. Chrome-Plating over sharp, unground welds in the hopper - I suspect these will eventually delaminate at these spots. (The metals under chrome plating are usually not food-safe). Damage: The motor housing on all three shipped products has deep, large gouges that can only come from something large and heavy. Scratches on plastic housing. Metal parts are burred, sharp, and need to be sanded down. Please see photos. Shipping: Product comes in product box with one sheet of bubble wrap and one mylar bag. Literally metal touches bare metal. The distributer Omcan is not taking this seriously. Extremely frustrated.

The juicer came with the packaging crushed and the equipment greatly damaged. Because of our time frame and needs we bent most of the parts back to a useable condition to be able to get it to work. The website does not say what the brand is. If I could do it again I would recommend looking for another brand that you can find parts for.
