No clock, no whistles, it's a coffee maker with a warmer. We love it, it doesn't cut off every couple of hours so if you want one that automatically cuts of then this one is not for you. It has a on and off switch for the warmer so you will have to cut it off manually but that's why we bought it. It keeps the coffee hot all day
