Easily monitor the temperature of your meat with this Pit Boss 40854 wireless digital meat thermometer. This thermometer includes 2 stainless steel probes, a transmitter, and a receiver. The receiver comes with preset USDA-approved internal temperatures and doneness levels for popular types of meat, so you can easily choose the correct temperature for the food you are cooking. Using the transmitter, you can monitor the temperature from up to 328 ft. away, and the temperature displays on an easy-to-read LCD screen.
This thermometer features a convenient countdown timer, and when the desired temperature has been reached, an alarm goes off. After 10 minutes of inactivity, both the receiver and the transmitter automatically shut off if the temperature remains stable, helping to preserve the battery. Additionally, time and temperature settings are saved when the unit is powered off. For the utmost versatility, the probes and wires can withstand temperatures up to 716 degrees Fahrenheit. Plus, all pieces have a magnetic back, so you can easily stick them to any magnetic surface.
