I always make sure I have one of these pens on me when I'm working, and then I use whatever inexpensive/throw away pens I can find to insert into guest checks. I don't take the risk of losing one of these guys. I'm sure these pens are great for all writing needs, but if you're a server, you definitely need to be using these.
