Pegasus CB-36G Details

Deliver authentic charbroiled flavors with this Pegasus charbroiler! This unit is a reliable, versatile choice for professional broiling applications. It delivers up to 103,000 BTU of heating power, making it great for busy kitchens or catering businesses. It features a free-floating top grid with 1/2" steel rods, which expands and contracts with heat without bending or warping. The standard grid spacing suits different types of foods, while the round rods ensure even heat distribution and strong sear marks. A quick-lift handle removes the grid for easy cleaning. You can also equip your unit with other top styles such as a flat plate, cast iron grates, or a shish kebab (sold separately).

This charbroiler is made of rugged stainless steel with all stainless steel burners and a fully insulated, double-walled outer cabinet. Its individual front burner controls allow for precise heat control over 6 different cooking zones. This model has water tubs to reduce grease flare-ups and an E-Z Tilt top grid to drain grease forward into the front trough. It comes with a 6" stainless steel service shelf with a towel bar, offering a convenient workspace for plating or holding tools. This charbroiler ships as a natural gas unit but is field convertible to liquid propane.

Frequently Asked Questions From Customers

I see that this gas unit is "field-convertible." What does that mean?
Gas equipment is factory-set to use either natural gas or liquid propane. Field-convertible equipment allows your unit to accept the other gas type (so for example a natural gas unit could be converted to use liquid propane), but this conversion must happen before it is used.

For safety reasons, a qualified service professional should perform the conversion. Your equipment’s warranty may require that such conversions be done by a professional, and failure to do so may void warranty coverage.

We recommend that you communicate with your installer to also arrange for the gas type conversion at the time of installation.
