This pan release spray works really well for applications where you wouldn't use a paper liner. We've had problems in the past trying to get fruit cakes, carrot cakes etc to come out of the fluted pans, because we don't like to dust the pans with flour. This works better than we expected. The ONLY issue that we see, is that it does get gummy and since I'm a stickler for CLEAN baking sheets and pans, I spend a lot of time hand scrubbing to get the sticky gummy stuff off.
