With the capability to produce up to 313 lb. of ice per day and store 110 lb. of ice daily, this Scotsman CU3030SA-1 Prodigy® air cooled undercounter ice machine will keep up with the ice demands of your restaurant, bar, cafe, or break room! This unit produces small, crystal clear ice cubes while using significantly less energy and water than other ice cube machines. In order to make upkeep easier, this unit's AutoAlert control panel with LED lights notifies you of scale buildup so you know exactly when it's time to descale, sanitize, and more. Plus, its WaterSense system reduces scale buildup in the unit, which lengthens the time you can operate between cleanings.

This ice machine's control panel is located on the outside of the unit for ease of use. Its door, top panel, and storage bin are all removable, giving you complete access to internal components as well as the unit's diagnostic display, which will alert you of any problems so your unit can be fixed correctly the first time. Its front air filter is removable for easy cleaning, too.

Ideal for operators with limited space, this ice machine's compact design allows it to be placed in tight locations, while its door slides up instead of swinging to the left or right, so you can easily access the ice bin without having to plan for which way your door will swing.

    The Ice machine came on time and the packaging was spotless. Hard to believe I know. Anyway once we got in installed and running we discovered that the tray holding the reservoir of water was leaning forward and letting the water drain out into the hold bin and melting the ice. Have called Scotsman, they were no help. Called local tech and was told there would be a fee plus tax just to look at it. Asked about warranty coverage and was told it wouldn't cover labor to look at it. Warranty covered parts and a little labor to install parts. Not real happy with it.

    Poorly built ice machine. When it was unpacked the bin was already loose with a large gap in the top rear that was difficult to repair. Once the ice machine was installed, it didn't make ice because the water kept running due to the malfunctioning float. The only reason I picked this ice machine to replace the Manitowoc was because Webstaurant store has Scotsman as the suggested brand. I really regret my purchase and wish I had just gone with Manitowoc again. Makes less ice than what the comparable Manitowoc we had did. Don't recommend this ice machine, especially for the price.

    Float switch was BAD out of the box. Webstaurant offered no help. Said warranty was with Scotsman. Scotsman gave us warranty service contractors, but they do not service Scotsman because Scotsman OWES they money so they stopped servicing them. BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

    The Scotsman undercounter cube ice machine is great! We've had ours for about 4 years now and as long as you take care of it it will last you a long time. Webstaurant sells plenty of cleaning products for it. You also need to keep the air filter clean. The ice is a great size and guests like it. We use it for drinks and cocktails as well. The 313lb basin is a great size for our needs.
