Protect your plumbing process with this Thermaco Big Dipper W-250-IS-T 25 GPM automatic grease trap with precision timer! This helpful tool is often used in various commercial food service operations and works with cooking or prep sinks, pot sinks, and commercial dishwashers. By filtering wastewater from your attached sink or dishwasher, this machine isolates solids and grease, protecting your plumbing. The fully automatic self-cleaning cycle removes grease and oil from tanks without operator assistance, which reduces the time you spend cleaning the machine and prevents backup. It also comes with a precision timer interface and grease collector.
For efficient operation, this grease trap is capable of skimming up to 9 lb. per hour. The skimming process makes removing and recycling grease quick and easy. With the digital control and precision timer interface, you can easily program the operation to meet the needs of your establishment. The compact footprint in combination with a 25 GPM flow rate and 56 lb. grease retention capacity make this unit ideal for any kitchen, and especially for under-sink installation.
This unit is constructed of corrosion-resistant materials to withstand frequent use with the interior and exterior made of rotationally molded polyethylene. It also boasts durable quick-release stainless steel lid clamps and an internal polymer / stainless steel strainer basket that collects coarse solids. The polymer lid is removable with magnetic lid tensioners, and it has a polymer wiper blade unit and 1" vessel vent. At the end of the day, the user-friendly grease collector and strainer basket are easy to empty with a carry handle and pouring spout. Two no-hub connectors for plumbing connection are included. This unit requires a 115V electrical connection.
