This Hamilton Beach HMI021 BigRig 21" immersion blender with variable speed dial is perfect for heavy-duty applications like blending soup or pureeing sauces. With a variable speed dial, this immersion blender provides you with flexibility to finetune it to each and every one of your recipes. Plus, with the color-coded light for immediate feedback about the blender's status, you will be able to adjust accordingly. From berries and cream to vinaigrette salad dressing, plenty of recipes benefit from a trusty immersion blender!
The sturdy stainless steel blade blends, chops, or emulsifies ingredients quickly, and the speed can be adjusted from 3,000 RPM to 15,000 RPM. The thumbdrive variable speed dial makes it easy to change the speed of the blender at any time without having to change your hand position or stop blending. In addition, the guard surrounding the blade provides you with extra security as well as helping to keep ingredients contained. The 21" stainless steel shaft with ergonomic grip detaches to let you change out the shaft to a variety of different sized shafts (sold separately). The shafts with ergonomic grip are user friendly and make it safe to position your hands in an optimal place to make using this blender a comfortable experience. Thanks to the ergonomic design of the handle on the blender base, along with its light-touch controls, the operator is able to position their hand in multiple positions for increased comfort. The trigger is on a rocker switch, which allows you to comfortably hold this unit from either direction and still blend your product.
When it comes time to store your immersion blender, the large opening in the handle makes it easy to hang on the included wall-mount hanger. The cord can easily be wrapped around the handle and clipped into the cord holder on the base of the unit. The serviceable cord also helps extend the blender's life and is a bright yellow color for maximum visibility. This unit requires a 120V connection for operation.
