The Watts WD-50-L 100 lb. low profile grease trap prevents greasy substances from entering plumbing systems, septic fields, and waste water treatment facilities where they cannot be processed properly and could harm the environment.
Grease traps like the Watts WD-50-L are often used with cooking or prep sinks, pot sinks, and commercial dishwashers in various types of commercial food service operations.
As the flow of water is gradually slowed by the internal baffles, lighter than water substances like grease accumulate inside the trap above the static water line.
The Watts WD-50-L grease interceptor is built to last, with a body made of 11-gauge cold rolled steel. The removable grease accumulating cover and baffle assembly are secured to the grease trap's body with a center mounted hex head and a gasket seal.
The Watts WD-50-L grease trap has a grease capacity of 100 lb., a flow rate of 50 GPM, and may be recess mounted or floor mounted.
