Scratch and Dent Avantco GDC-15-HC 25 5/8" Black Swing Glass Door Merchandiser Refrigerator with LED Lighting

This fridge worked PERFECTLY...for about 16 months! Then it went from 36 degrees to 68 degrees and never went back down again. Of course the warranty for parts & labor was only for a year, so we were on our own for getting it repaired. Our refrigeration expert checked it out & was sure it was a refrigerant leak on top of a bad compressor and informed us that it would be similar cost to to just purchase a new unit! So, 16 months later we have now purchased a 2nd unit...this time with the 5-year warranty. I personally take very good care of routinely cleaning all our equipment, so this isn't a maintenance issue. Currently I have 5 other Avantco fridges/freezers that I am using at my restaurant with zero issues! Very upset that I need to cough-up money on a product that should be built to last more than a whole calendar year.

Garbage....Waste of money. My compressor went bad right after 13 months.(right after the warranty ran out) This was in front of my restaurant in the AC the whole life, one day the temp went to 55F and never came down. tried everything and call 2 techs but they refuse to fix this thing because it has this new HIGHLY FLAMABLE refrigerant and even if I were to fix it, its going to cost almost the same money as buying another one of this.

The cooler cane off the truck today and we were happy with it until we realized, after unpacking it and bringing it in, that the door doesn’t close. The lip on the corner guard is not seated appropriately and keeps the door from shutting.

Good on pricing , does the job with some modifications made to the existing shelves. The brackets are in wired places so to use them in an equal distribution it’s not possible bc the side rails have screws that don’t match up in location to front and back.

I love this fridge and work very well. Delivery was on time. No damage on product. Delivery men is very helpful to go to the back of the garage for more easy access.

This fridge is excellent BUT I wish the power switch was more protected. It would be nice if it came with hard covers that could be secured with a screw or key, because I've multiple times had new employees accidentally turn off the entire fridge instead of the lights!

We got tired of waiting for the cooler to be repaired by the local beverage service company, and decided we'd just get our own. This cooler has been in use for over 15 months now and is wonderful. Maintains even temperature, and the door makes a good seal even with constant opening and closing by customers. It hold plenty of product - we've got bottled sodas and water in it. The light is bright and the cooler attracts customers to it. It has been a reliable, attractive cooler and well worth the price.

This refrigerator does not cool!!!! It says it’s at 41 degrees and the drinks in there are lukewarm at best even though I have it on the lowest setting. Hasn’t cooled even right after opening it.

worst Refrigerator ever we bought, its ben one year we bought never worked. when we bought it it was not cooling, we have to wait several week for the warranty people to show up and fix it. after they fix it after a month it stoped working again. kept sending email to the warranty company, they never answer. do no buy it and do not waste your money

The unit arrived well packed and on time. We chose the liftgate service which took a few days but well worth the cost. This was used to replace a different merchandiser that was a big headache and an energy hog. When the other one worked, it drew 7 amos vs 1.3 for this one. The unit cooled down quickly in an hour. The led lights are bright and even. I added a shelf I cut from the other unit and even a rack on the bottom to aid draining of moisture. We are very happy with it!

highly recommend it when budget is moderate yet space and performance are priorities,looking stunning in person.

I bought Avantco GDM-15-he 25 5/8 Refrigerator which was shipped on July 13th 2021. This Refrigerator makes a lot of Humming noise . It’s too noisy for the business. Can someone from webstaurant contact me at my phone number on the account. Something needs to be done.

Great upright refrigerator with a ton of space for beers or other cold items. Works well and very quiet. The light is bright for displaying cold items. highly recommend.

This is a very nice upright cooler, the lights are super bright on the inside, has a temperature display on the front great to make sure you are at temp, its a bit smaller on the inside than I was thinking but it still does the job

Great Beer Fridge. We have a ton of Craft Beer on Hand and with a large Selection we are able to generate more Cash Flow.

This is the perfect fridge to hold milk for our shop! The glass panel allows to easily see stock on the fly and can hold plenty of product!

Even though it is small, this fridge is heavy and just barely cannot fit vertically under a door frame. Besides that it is a great fridge. It looks good and regulates temperature very well.

Having a startup cafe, we needed all equipment for our cafe and this one is just right. The fridge displays our beverages nicely and are easily accessible for our customers.

Works well. Keeps temperature very good and fits in our store very well. The digital temperature display works good and it doesn’t appear to use a ton of energy to run.

We were very happy with this until just after a year the glass spontaneously cracked overnight. I would spend more on another brand next time.
