Designed to handle up to 66.1 lb. of potatoes in one cycle of 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, and up to 700 lb. per hour, this potato peeler is ideal for higher volume restaurants, healthcare facilities, or schools that process fresh potatoes for use in mashed potatoes, stews, and other recipes.
The peeler is made of durable, corrosion-resistant type 304 stainless steel and it uses a durable, vented asynchronous motor with a belt-driven transmission to power the unit. Inside, the potato peeler uses abrasives designed to enable your employees to operate, clean, and maintain the unit with minimal effort.
Additional features of this potato peeler include the water jet valve, a safety microswitch on the cover and chute, and a digital control panel with a multi-functional timer. When potatoes are peeled, the manual discharge button makes retrieving them easy. And this unit isn't limited to potatoes - you can also peel carrots and similar vegetables. This unit requires a 220V electrical connection for operation.
