Convenient for chopping potatoes of all kinds, cantaloupe, carrots, etc. I wish it was sold with the push block instead of having to order it separately. I had to cancel my order so that I could add on the push block but customer service was very helpful in the process. My local restaurant supply store didn't have the 1" so I was glad to find it here.
