This NAKS duct thermostat is a perfect companion to your exhaust hood! This component is a valuable part of your kitchen's type 1 ventilation system, connecting to the control box to allow effective temperature monitoring in your hood's ductwork. If the temperature gets too hot, it will signal the exhaust to come on in an effort to remove excess heat in compliance with IMC regulations. It is non-polarity sensitive, and can be mounted remotely or in the hood for optimal convenience. You can also adjust it in the field to meet the specific needs of your application, and it includes a 1/2" NPT hood seal.
