It has a powerful 1,500 mW speaker for clear communication without feedback, even in loud conditions. This radio provides coverage of up to 250,000 sq. ft. It offers 99 UHF business exclusive frequences and 219 PL / DPL codes, including 6 customizable codes for a clear signal. This compact radio comes with a swivel belt holster, allowing you to rotate it and move freely on the job.

This radio features a simple push-to-talk (PTT) button for instant communication. It also has VOX to automatically activate when detecting your voice, enabling hands-free use. It is easy to use with an on / off knob and a channel selector knob. This unit has customized channel announcements to inform you on which channel you are communicating on without having to remove your radio from your belt. You can customize your list of channels from 16 pre-recorded work functions such as security, customer service, and cashier. This radio has a tri-colored LED status indicator to identify its features and status.

This radio has an antimicrobial coating to prevent the growth of mold and germs. Its IP54 and IP55 rated and meets MIL-STD 810 requirements to withstand dust, water, vibration, shocks, and extreme temperatures. It operates using a 2,150 mAh lithium-ion battery, and it comes with a drop-in charging tray with a wall adapter. This battery lasts for up to 15 hours with battery save on or up to 12 hours with battery save off. This radio works with CPS to customize and manage your radio using a computer browser. Its profiles are interchangeable with the RDX series, allowing you to clone settings between radios using a cloning cable or multi-unit charger (both sold separately).
