This radio comes with an 8-character alphanumeric display and 4 programmable buttons. It has a wide range of features such as a lone worker / emergency alerts, auto power off, low power mode, and busy channel lockout. It also has a multiple scan mode to monitor several channels for activity. This radio comes equipped with a wide variety of signaling features, analog mode features, and digital mode features to enhance its functionality and privacy.

This radio is water submersible and dustproof to withstand demanding conditions. It is IP67 rated and meets MIL-STD-810 requirements to withstand dust, water, vibration, shocks, and extreme temperatures. This unit operates using a 2,300 mAh lithium-ion battery, which is easily rechargeable using the included micro USB charger. This battery lasts for up to 11 hours in analog mode and up to 12 hours in digital mode depending on usage.
