This lame barely made it through four loaves before it became too dull to be worth using. It also rusted very quickly despite the fact that I carefully dried it right away after washing. Since I didn't want to keep buying more of these and generating tons of plastic waste, I ended up investing in a lame with a replaceable razor blade for more after shipping. Each individual blade on that one lasts longer than this entire lame did, and the handle is built to last for years. I'm normally all for cheap solutions, but in this case, it's worth the (minimal) extra investment to go for one with a replaceable blade.
