I recently used the Mercer Culinary M35150 3 1/4" 5-Blade Stainless Steel Herb Shears with Blade Guard (7 3/5" overall, Item #M35150) to garnish dishes with fresh herbs, and they’re a time-saving gem

So so... not really what i expected but i gave them a try anyway. I use a lot of cilantro and i got these for the street tacos i make. just made the herb look funny on the tacos so i decided to not use them. You can not cut a lot of herb at one time for they will bind up and just make you frustrated. my wife will use them in the craft room.

These herb shears are great! I take them out to my garden and just trim what I need. They clean easily too! I highly recommend this product. You won't go wrong with these!

These shears work relatively well, but are definitely gimmicky. They require a lot of force to get through products, so you need to chop "quickly." to get full use. They also tend to tear herbs more than slice; a knife definitely does a better job. The included guard works well for cleaning out between the blades.

Seems like a great idea when I bought it. Sort of works as advertised I'm not sure if it's an actual solution to a problem.

This is a really good idea in theory, but I find that in practice, they fall a bit short. The herbs are cut into fine little pieces, sure, but the pieces more often get stuck within the blades of the scissors themselves rather than making it to your plate. =/

These shears are great for cutting parsley! If you don’t feel like getting out the cutting board, you can use these shears to cut herbs directly into your dish.

These herb scisors are great for a quick, last second garnish or seasoning just before serving. I use them most frequently to make quick work of cilantro for tacos, green onion for fried rice, and basil for pasta . SUPER sharp, and great in the dishwasher. I always clean my knife immediately after use, so it is great to grab these once the knife is clean and then throw the scissors in the dishwasher (something I woud never do with my knife!).

Good for a stiff and dry herb in small numbers. Tried cutting fresh parsley and failed miserably. Love all Mercer products but this one is more for home use.

These shears work really nice when cutting small amounts of herbs; I used to use a chef's knife, and found it difficult to chop small amounts. The shears have solved this problem!

If you have a lot of fresh herbs to chop and limited time or knife skills, this is the way to go. Unlike wielding a chef's knife, everyone knows how to use scissors. These do a good job of simplifying an otherwise time consuming task.

These work good.It makes it easier to chop a bunch at one time. I usually roll the leaves like to chiffonade but then cut with these.

I used to chop up my herbs until I got the Mercer 5-Blade Herb Shears with the blade guard. They make chopping herbs up way easier and they are very useful in the kitchen.

These five blade cutting shears are fantastic for cutting up all sorts of herbs for all sorts of occasions they work fantastic thanks I got a pretty good price too can you pass it up

This is a great tool to use with fresh herbs. We have an herb garden where we can pick fresh herbs, cut them up quickly right into the soup, stew, or as a garnish on top of salads, and soups. They are consistent in size and have that great fresh taste.

Unfortunately these herb scissors didn't perform like I thought they would when I ordered them. They weren't sharp enough to cut my herbs and I wasn't able to use them.

I am very glad I found this gadget. Makes cutting herbs a lot easier and faster. The shears are strong and sharp. Everyone should have a pair.

Fantastic idea and seems to work but it kind of is hard to get the herbs in the right place to get it to work without skipping and getting big pieces on both ends and they sometimes stick in the blades like the sage especially. i expect it would work well for chives but the slightly dry herbs out for a day not just picked were a little tough to cut properly still great idea and works okay

Never came across shear scissors like this. Makes cutting your foods easier, and faster especially vegetables. I love using it, and if I need to re- order, I will not hesitate.

Best shears I have ever owned for my herb garden. All you have to do is pick the herbs wash and cut right above your food. The price is really good. As well as they are very well made and feel comfortable in your hands.

No more dicing here. Just take your herbs and cut them with these shears for a very even cut thru and thru. Saves so much time.

These scissors were a fun gadget. It helped with cutting chives and garlic scapes but I eventually went back to the knife as it took me about the same time to chop them.

I like these a lot. Very easy to cut scallions, chives, and other herbs. They can be a little difficult to clean, but it's worth it.

There's no easier way to uniformly cut-up chives and other herbs. That, plus the fact that you can cut the herbs directly over the food, makes these shears a kitchen necessity! I love mine! Would definitely buy again! Highly recommended!
