If you temper your chocolate correctly, it is not necessary to chill it to make it harden, and in fact doing so will ruin the appearance of your chocolate; when you remove it from the refrigerator, condensation will form on its surface as it comes back to room temperature, and this condensation will cause the chocolate to bloom.
