This unit comes with one straight blade, one waffle blade, and a set of 3 julienne blades with 10, 18, and 30 teeth. The blade holders that are included with this unit make for an easy switch between julienne blades and the carver or waffle blades in just a few seconds. To increase the customization of blade cuts even more, you can adjust slice thickness up to 10 mm. With a stainless steel 18/10 construction you can expect both durability as well as a non-corrosive finish. The blades are made of a tempered steel that can be sharpened following long periods of usage.
A safety pusher will help prevent your hand from making any contact with the blades during use. Its flat guard design easily lifts off to sit on top of fruits or vegetables, so it does not limit the size of the vegetables you can cut! The design of the mandoline is devoid of any nooks or screws so that there is no place for food to potentially get stuck. For quick and even cuts on vegetables this mandoline is the best. The blades are very sharp and last for a long time. We have had no problems with this kitchen tool.
