3-Step Vending Process
Ice vending is made quick and easy with this machine's simple 3-step process. First, a customer swipes their credit card, which unlocks the door. Then, the customer retrieves however many bags of ice are desired, and recloses the door when finished. The card reader will display the number of bags taken based on weight, and the amount to be charged to the customer. It's that easy!

Simple Vending Payments
As is standard with vending technology and payment processing, the VM40 Ice Vending Machine requires two monthly fees. The first fee covers the management of vending technology - remote portals, hosting, encryption, software updates - and cellular service / signal, all for the low price of $25 a month. The second fee covers the costs associated with processing payments and credit card fees. For this, you are given 3 different options on how to pay, with each being more cost effective than the others based on the total bags sold annually. In a cold wall refrigeration system, or coil cooled system, a series of copper wires runs through the walls of the merchandiser. These copper wires radiate cold air into the cabinet in order to keep the ice cold. This causes condensation to occur on the walls of cold wall merchandisers, meaning they will need to be defrosted and cleaned regularly.
In an auto defrost refrigeration system, or forced air system, cold air is pumped into the cabinet using fans, which keeps your ice cold. This type of refrigeration system cuts down on the amount of condensation that forms inside the merchandiser, and the condensation that does form in the unit is removed by an automatic condensation evaporator system.
