Details

Bring the flavor of classic Chinese barbecue to your establishment with this Lee Kum Kee char siu sauce! Made with a blend of fermented soybean paste, honey, and classic Chinese spices, this sauce makes it easy to add sweet and savory flavor to a wide variety of meats. Packaged in a convenient 5.62 lb. container, this char siu sauce is a perfect way to ensure that you keep your Asian restaurant stocked with essential ingredients. Plus, it's made without artificial flavoring, making this sauce a natural choice for your establishment.

Often referred to as "Chinese barbecue sauce," char siu sauce is an essential ingredient when making Asian-inspired meat dishes. It complements poultry, beef, and pork, as well as a wide variety of seafood. Blend it with other ingredients like oyster sauce and dark soy sauce to create a marinade that will deeply permeate your meats with sweet, savory flavor, or use it to season your meats as you saute, roast, or grill them!

While running a humble tea and oyster soup shop in Guangdong, China, Lee Kum Sheung had a happy accident; one day in 1888, he simmered his oysters for too long. His normally clear oyster soup had turned into a thick brown sauce with a rich aroma and an astonishingly complex flavor. Lee knew he had accidentally made something wonderful! He created the Lee Kum Kee brand to promote his newly-invented oyster sauce, and as the sauce's popularity began to grow, so did his company. Though today, Lee Kum Kee is an international brand that is well-known throughout China and around the world, this family-owned business has remained rooted in its beginnings as a simple company founded on delicious flavor. Lee Kum Kee offers a wide variety of traditional Chinese sauces and condiments and is constantly creating innovative new flavors that set the standard for great taste. Whether you're looking for authentic Chinese flavor or delicious condiments to help you keep up with industry trends, Lee Kum Kee offers something for every establishment.

Haven't tasted yet, looks promising... But no plum puree. Very curious to see how that affects the flavor. Did get a little dings during shipping, but that's not normal for products coming from Webstaurant. They do a really good job of packaging their items so that they arrive in good condition.

Type:
Thai Sweet Chili Sauce

i found this sauce/ingredient was a disappointment....to me it was almost pure fructose corn sweetener with an overlay of cooked garlic sort of flavor and red coloring....it didn't add anything to my dishes except sugar which i could get elsewhere from the sugar bowl....not reccommended

Black Bean Garlic Sauce

This Black Bean Garlic Sauce is by far the best one I've tried. It is very thick and rich, without being overpowering in dishes. Once heated up it thins out a little, and is very easy to mix into stir fry.

Type:
Thai Sweet Chili Sauce

The best sweet chili for my Crab Rangoon recipe. I've tried others, I carry others for other items. But this is the ONLY sweet chili for my crab Rangoon pizza. I use it in the mix as well as a topping. My customers rave about this pizza. It's all in the sauce. I have gone to great lengths to find this sauce when others stop selling it. I've gone without my Crab Rangoon pizza because I didn't have this sauce. It's that good.

Hoisin Sauce

This is my favorite hoisin sauce by far! The flavor is great for stir fry, which is the way I always use it, but can also be used for dipping, or even as a glaze.

Type:
Plum Sauce

This stuff is delicious for dipping egg rolls and spring rolls in, and it is a great topping for Chinese food. It is sweet and tastes like plums, but it still goes great with savory food like meat and vegetables.
