I bought this dust pan as a secondary dust pan for my household as my husband inconveniently makes mine disappear on a regular basis. I figured with the dark color, I can hide it in the back of the utility closet, and he'll never see it unless he asks me. That said, it's an "okay" dust pan. The edge is nice and thin so it can capture more dust, but the sides are warped upward a bit so you have to be careful to sweep fine particles directly into the center. Then pan also comes with little 'feet' on the back side so it won't tip. It has a convenient hole in the handle so one can hang it up. One thing I wasn't particularly keen on is all the burrs in the plastic, so I would not use this on any delicate or easily-marred surface, like wood, not without sanding the burrs off first.
