This model is completely self-contained for efficient, professional installation and safe operation. Each exit sign features a sleek, compact, low-profile design with a neutral finish that fits well in most venues. Also, the housing is made of durable injection-molded, 5VA flame-retardant, high-impact thermoplastic.

As a universal exit sign, this model can be mounted either from the side or the top. It includes a universal mounting canopy. The back plate also allows for wall mounting. In addition, it comes with a second face plate so that you can install it either as a single face or double face exit sign. This exit sign has snap-out chevron directional indicators so all of the decisions about mounting, arrows, and whether to install the unit as a single or double face sign can be easily made in the field!

Made to keep working in emergency situations, this exit sign comes with a 6V maintenance free, rechargeable sealed lead acid battery backup. This backup battery keeps the sign illuminated for a minimum of 90 minutes even when the power goes out. It also has a charge rate / power on LED indicator light and a push-to-test switch so you can be sure the sign is operating properly. This exit sign also has a fully automatic, two rate, solid state charger in order to recharge a discharged battery within 24 hours. Another feature of this exit sign includes an automatic low-voltage disconnect in order to prevent a deep battery discharge.

If you need to connect multiple emergency signage and lighting units to one power supply, this exit sign is a great choice! It has 11W or remote capability built right in. This means that you can power up to two remote light heads off of the power supply in the exit sign. The voltage of remote heads must be 6V.

The long-lasting LED lights in this exit sign last for 25 years or more, so you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs frequently. This unit is even approved for use in damp locations (68-122 degrees Fahrenheit) like storage rooms and back of the house areas! It requires a 120/277V electrical connection for operation. The energy consumption for this unit is 3.8W.
