Lavex 44 Qt. Yellow Mop Bucket and Side Press Wringer Combo

I purchased this item based on the reviews. I can honestly say it was a huge mistake. When we go to ring out the water, the whole bucket tends to flip over. We did everything we could to try and fix the problem but nothing worked. We ended up throwing this out and getting one elsewhere. Do not buy!

There is no way there can be a worse mop bucket on the market. I purchased three of these and it's like I threw away my money. The wringer doesn't even come close to wringing the mop. The wringer also doesn't fit on the bucket properly. Poor quality, poor design, waste of money.

I am a 48 year old man that has done nothing but work in foodservice. I have used a mop and bucket daily for the last 34 years. I have never given much thought to the mop bucket I use. I recently purchased the Lavex mop bucket and wringer to replace a broken mop bucket. It is the worst designed mop bucket I have ever used. The wringer does not fit on the lip cleanly, the unit is narrow and unstable, the wringer is especially difficult to use and since its unstable you have to stand directly over the bucket to properly squeeze so it doenst shoot out from under you. It has just tipped over for the third time. I ordered a rubbermaid unit a week ago and Im waiting for it to come in. Its the only mop bucket I hold in such ill repute that it will be placed in the field to be used as target practice. Spend a few extra bucks and you or your employees will thank you.

Skip this cheap knock off and help your employees. Wringing out the water is difficult. The spring is probably too strong which make the bucket move every time one pulls the lever down. It works but your employees deserve better

Ringer fits fine in the back of the bucket, but the back wall where the ringer sits is made too thin that when you squeeze the mop it bends the back wall and will tip over the bucket. You have to have someone hold the bucket so it doesn't tip over as you squeeze the mop, or push it against a wall. that's not good.

I was in the market for a new mop bucket and did not want to spend a lot of money. I found this one and it seemed promising. Everything seemed ok until we tried using it for the first time and our spring is horrible! Other mop buckets we've used have been easy to use, but this one is almost impossible to use. Had I known about this, I would've spent more money on a more expensive one.

The first one arrived damaged, the second one sent as a replacement was perfect. I wasn't not required to return it - just threw it out. Lightweight. Wheels are sturdy.

This Lavex Mop Bucket is a great alternative to the expensive Rubbermaid models. It was super easy to put together and has worked great for us in our small kitchen & restaurant!

Love this simply because it’s not a screaming loud yellow mop bucket. When the packe arrived, we were able to set it up with a breeze. Super easy and straight forward. I’d recommend to use a mallet for building it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I purchased and the wringer is no good on these. Extremely difficult to wring out the mop. The when I tried to return , the shipping cost plus restocking fee , pretty much took 1/2 of my money .

Great for the first month of use, but after the third month, the spring broke and now I am left with a bucket with no ringer. Not a great product if you ask me. Would not recommend to others to buy. Now I have to fork over another bit of money to buy a new one only after 3 months of use! What a waste!

This is a piece junk, . NO RECOMMEND IT. Its always moving and unstable whenever squeezing the mop. the handle to squeezing the mop is stick and tight

Mop bucket is ok, but the wringer is NOT. It's poorly made and provides very little leverage to wring out mop. Waste of money .... DO NOT BUY!

I should have know the price was too cheap for quality, the wringer does not work anymore after 2 months and the bucket maybe holds 5 gallons very small, will not buy again.

Gave this one a try as it was the lowest price and a recommended item. Unfortunately, the quality wasn't really there. We only use it to mop at night, and our shop is quite small. Still, in less than a year, one of the wheels lost it's bearings and no longer turns. There are no replacement wheels available. Also the design is a bit faulty: unless you press the lever slowly and gently, water will shoot out from behind onto the floor. Also, since the squeezer mechanism is attached to the edge of the bucket, unless you are quite careful, you run the risk of tipping the entire thing over each time you attempt to dry the mop head. I am going to give the similar Continental model a try and will let you know how it goes!

Sturdy bucket and the wringer works really well. Easy to use and holds up fine for daily cleaning.

I used this mop bucket for about 6 months, and unfortunately it didn’t hold up well. The spring mechanism on the side press wringer broke, which made the wringer completely unusable. It’s clear that this part is very weak and not built for long-term use. Because of that, I do not recommend this product if you plan to use it regularly. It might work okay for light, occasional mopping, but for anything more demanding the durability just isn’t there. Pros: • Decent capacity • Wheels move easily Cons: • Spring on the side press broke after 6 months • Weak build quality • Not reliable for regular use Overall, disappointing performance — especially given how quickly the wringer failed.

Very difficult to get the wheels inserted. If there are any nuisances needed for installation, they instructions don't say anything. And of course if you return it...more money out of pocket.
