KB200 Product Features:

Three points to remember about the KB200: strength, design, and enhancements. The strength of the KB200 is derived from the steel unibody chassis. The chassis is equipped with steel-on-steel hinges, offering greater resistance to wear and improved durability. This exceedingly strong baby changing station supports 200 lbs. with minimal deflection. The KB200 is also easy to mount, by using the key-holes on the chassis for hanging the unit during the installation process.

Let's talk about the design. The KB200 has a sleek, symmetrical modern look. Its flat-panel design matches modern restroom decors. There are four color choices: Cream, Gray, Earth (which is a new color for Koala), and White Granite. The bed provides a smooth, concave changing surface, resulting in comfort for the baby and peace of mind for the caregiver.

The KB200 is constructed of 11-gauge steel and polypropylene material. There is no exposed hardware, removing this as a liability issue. The unit is absent of any pinch points and passes the ASTM and EN safety standards. The safety strap is adjustable and produces a "click" sound to indicate the buckle is engaged when snapped. Regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), all accessibility guidelines are met, removing code vagueness with inspectors and confusion with operators. The unit can be mounted to the correct ADA height and persons in wheelchairs can easily open, close, and use the baby changing station.

Improved diaper bag hooks equate to better end-user satisfaction. The bag hooks allow the caregiver to remain close to the child on the baby changing station when they need to access diapers and other items from their bag. The unit is manufactured exclusively with Microban anti-microbial protection that inhibits the growth of bacteria and keeps the unit cleaner between cleanings. To access the liner dispenser cavity, use the Bobrick key that is provided and open the liner dispenser lid. Some of the many product enhancements include, two liner dispenser cavities that easily hold (25) 3-ply biodegradable liners in each cavity. Each cavity is best filled with the liner fold at the top or facing upwards. A bungee cord holds the liners in place to make sure the refill process is quick and easy. The liner dispenser has a Bobrick key lock that serves two purposes: 1. it reduces potential vandalism, and 2. keeps hardware secure and out of view.

Welcome to the KB200 Installation. We've hit the fast forward on the installation switch on the new KB200 because its quick and so easy. It is incredibly strong and stable. We recommend wearing protective eye wear when installing Koala baby changing stations. Grab your tools and lets get started. Now unseal the KB200 box and remove the contents. Enclosed is the bed and the metal mounting chassis which is one piece. Wall mount liner dispenser and two kits: an installation kit and an operator kit clearly printed on the bags kits. Give the operator kit to the facility operator or manager. Watch as our installer does the unthinkable and actually read the instructions. In which she find the correct mounting height for the ADA requirement. Please note masonry, tile, or metal stud lock has a different installation as described in the installation manual. Use a stud finder to locate the studs and mark the location with a pencil. To meet the ADA requirement, measure 44 1/4 inches from the floor on stud center to mark what will be the top screw. Having marked the studs measure across 16". The mounting distance horizontally between the screws. After ensuring the location and making sure the mounting holes are level drill two pilot holes with an 1/8" regular drill bit. The installation hardware for the frame include six screws and four washers. Screw two of the mounting screws into the pilot holes. Leaving one 1/4 inch exposed. The packaged product has two pieces the bed and metal mounting chassis and the wall mount liner dispenser. By opening the wall mount liner dispenser and placing it aside. Lifting the bed and metal mounting chassis, the installer rests the chassis key hole slots on the exposed mounting screws. Gosh those key holes make installation easy. A level is used to ensure the unit is mounted straight. Next, the four remaining pilot holes are drilled using the remaining holes in the chassis as a template. Lastly, four screws and four washes complete the installation of the frame. Note the four differences in between the KB100 and the KB200. First the mounting distance is now vertically 44 1/4 inches to meet the ADA requirement for the KB200. Second the measurement horizontally is 16 inches on stud center. Not 32 inches. Thirdly, six screws, not four, are required for mounting the KB200. Finally only the bottom four screws require washers. Covering that strong chassis, the wall mount liner dispenser for attachment. The barbra key that is taped to the unit is removed to unlock the liner dispenser lid letting the lid rest against the bed. This is necessary to access the holes in the wall mount liner dispenser to fix it to the chassis using the screws provided. When all four screws have been fastened the liner dispenser lid is re-positioned and locked. With a gentle but authoritative touch check that installation is complete. To verify the shock it operating properly, the bed should open and close smoothly. Next, wipe the outside and the inside of the unit with a clean cloth to remove any debris. Clean your work area and give the operator kit and the extra key to the operator.

    This is a very sturdy quality baby changing station. It's also a name/ brand that parents recognize, so the value in that was important. The kit came with needed hardware and door stickers. Fairly easy to install as well.

    Very sturdy and it doesn't stick out too far from the wall. It was also nice to have the vertical or horizontal option for the table. The compartment for the changing pads lock -which is helpful feature. We are very happy with our purchase.
