This Koala Kare black horizontal oval baby changing station is made of high-density polyethylene for durability and longevity, and its construction provides a high level of vandal resistance. For controlled opening and closing of the bed, this baby changing station includes a pneumatic cylinder and concealed steel-on-steel hinges to provide extra strength. This unit features an internal steel pivot rod enclosed in a metal tube, ensuring longevity and sustained wear resistance in high-traffic areas.
To help keep little ones safe and secure, this Koala Kare baby changing station comes complete with nylon safety straps. The Microban® antimicrobial surface helps reduce the spread of germs and illness. The smooth, concave changing surface is easy to clean and resists odors and bacterial growth. It also features hooks to keep your purse or diaper bag off the floor and within easy reach.
When properly installed, this changing station / table complies with ASTM static load performance requirements. It has a 60 lb. maximum recommended weight capacity. It's also been tested to accommodate a static load of up to 250 lb. without causing any sustained usability effects.
