KitchenAid KNS256CDH Coated PowerKnead Dough Hook for Stand Mixers

We have 4 dough hook attachments but this one is our top go-to every time we make bread. We bought this attachment because the aluminum version got all cruddy after going in the dishwasher. This is MUCH easier to clean and is simpler to wipe down to scrape dough off of it. For some reason though the dough really sticks to the white coating if it is left to dry before washing. Just a tip to try to wash right away after use if your kitchen schedule allows. Otherwise, this is a very smart buy. I own several models do KitchenAid mixer and love these coated attachments. I have bought them for all my mixers for the ease of cleaning. They are dishwasher safe so I prefer them to the metal ones that came with some of my mixers.

Much higher quality than the one that comes with the mixer. I don't know why they don't bump the price of the mixer up by a couple of $ and just include this to begin with. The original is horrible.

After a single use of this new hook I am far more pleased with its performance than that of my old uncoated cast aluminum c style dough hook. It more effectively mixed the dough and was reasonably nonstick. Have not tested in the dishwasher as of yet.

This enamel coated dough hook is fabulous. Makes easy work of pastry doughs. It replaces the aluminum hook that came with my KA. Yay!

This Can replace or be used as a back up to the dough hook that comes with the mixer. Attach it easily and let the mixer do the kneading for you.

This dough hook for the kv25g is great for any breads that you need to do day in and day out. Definitely a durable brand!
