It has a loud piezoelectric horn that emits 85 decibels at 10' away to audibly alert patrons. It is easy to mount on any wall or ceiling, and it boasts a discreet 4" design to seamlessly blend in.
This unit can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a test button to easily test the electronic circuitry, horn, and battery function. This unit is powered by a sealed 9V carbon zinc battery to ensure that the alarm will still work during power outages. It will conveniently chirp every 30 to 40 seconds for a minimum of 7 days to indicate that the battery is low and it must be replaced.
