Help your business run at maximum efficiency with this Ice-O-Matic remote-cooled ice machine! This ice machine produces up to 763 lb. of pearl-style ice per day. These soft, chewable ice crystals are a customer favorite for fountain drinks because they dispense well and cool beverages faster and longer than standard cube ice. They also blend well in smoothies and mixed drinks without diluting the flavor. This type of ice machine uses less power and water than most comparable cube ice makers, making it a great upgrade for restaurants, convenience stores, and healthcare facilities.
This durable ice machine boasts smart electronics to help minimize service calls. Its SystemSafe load monitoring system constantly checks the stress on the gearbox and shuts the machine down before it can cause damage and necessitate costly repairs. An innovative water sensor also eliminates low and no-water failures and is designed so that adverse water conditions cannot affect its reliability. Additionally, it has a built-in, non-contact ice detection fail-safe with automatic shutoff to detect when the ice bin is full and immediately stop production. This unit features a durable stainless steel finish. It has a stainless steel evaporator assembly, maintenance-free, industrial-grade double roller bearings, and a heavy-duty gearbox for years of reliable ice making. For added durability, the roller bearings are located away from the ice-making zone for optimal corrosion resistance.
This remote-cooled model is an excellent choice for applications where ambient noise is a concern, because the condenser (sold separately) can be installed in a separate location where noise is less problematic, and connected to the ice machine with the appropriate pre-charged line kits (sold separately). Its modular design offers flexibility in application and easy installation on bins or dispensers (sold separately). Because it has hot air discharge vents on both the top and the side, it can be installed in a wider range of locations without fear of obstructing the exhaust. It uses R-449A refrigerant and requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
