Where to start, overall this unit is a large capacity and produces a large quantity of ice. Here’s where it fails miserably. All ice machines must be cleaned often to reduce mold contents and this unit is a nightmare. First off, I have never seen a machine need such frequent cleanings and also such in depth cleanings to get rid of the mold. The whole told of the unit must be disassembled and all in all their are about 9 pieces that must be removed and soaked in bleach due to the poor design of the pieces. You physically can’t get a bottle brush in to scrub it or disassemble some of the parts that need cleaning. it takes roughly two people about 3 hours to deep clean this unit every 2 months to keep this units mold count down. Absolutely insane. I had a Vance ice machine that required far less cleanings and was so much easier to get done.
