Does adding optional accessories impact the lead time on this product?

Yes. If optional accessories are added to this product, this product may require additional lead time.

I'm concerned that the plates and knives I have won't work with this hub. Is there a way I can be sure they will fit?

Measure the square hole in your plate or knife. A standard #12 hub fits plates and knives with a 9/16" square hole, while a standard #22 hub fits plates and knives with a 3/4" square hole.

What do I need to do to complete my order for this meat grinder / chopper?

Under “Accessories & Options” (top right of the page), any fields marked with an asterisk (*) MUST be selected at time of order; you need to choose one of the available options in that field for the product to work properly. However, you can find all of our available options on the site too.

Which chopping end / feed pan do I need?

If you use the funnel-shaped feed pan, be sure to also select the funnel-shaped chopping end from the dropdowns as well. It is not compatible with the non-funnel-shaped chopping end.

The Hobart 4822-34 #22 meat chopper is perfect for "on-demand" meat chopping, grinding 12-20 lb. of meat per minute through a 1/8" plate. Its powerful 1 1/2 horsepower motor operates the 212 RPM transmission for fast, uniform results every time.

The Hobart 4822-34 meat chopper offers unbeatable ease of cleaning and sanitation. In fact, all parts which contact food are easily accessible and readily removable for convenient cleaning without the use of tools. Plus, the exterior stainless steel housing is easy to wipe down and sanitize so that your meat grinder is always clean for the next use. This unit requires a 120V, 60Hz. single phase electrical connection.
