Create strong seals that you can count on with this Hercules by Oatey Plumbers Firestop 25696 10.1 oz. sealant. This multi-purpose sealant is designed for a variety of firestop applications and provides up to a three-hour fire rating. It can be used on a wide array of surfaces and systems including metal and plastic pipes, electric cabling, metal ductwork, wooden floors, and heating and cooling systems. It's even ideal for use in systems where dynamic movement is expected.
Latex-based, this flexible, non-sagging sealant acts as an excellent smoke seal and will expand up to 10 times to block flame propagation. It's low odor and even reduces noise transmission. Made with low volatile organic compounds, this sealant is non-halogenated and contains no solvents, PCBs, or asbestos. Plus, it won't separate or shrink when dry and is water-resistant when cured. It's also water-based for simple and easy cleanup!
