Details

This 10.2 oz. RTV silicone sealant with red finish is a high-performance sealant designed for dependability and protection in high-temperature applications! This sealant won't sag no matter where you install it, which makes it suitable for vertical and overhead application and most common building materials. This room temperature vulcanizing sealant can be used indoors or outdoors and will form skin in about 10 minutes, cure within 24 hours, and fully cure in 7 days. With up to 25% joint movement capability, it provides excellent resistance to shock and vibration, while also standing up to UV degradation and normal weathering. When cured, it creates a waterproof seal.

This sealant is rated for temperatures as low as -50 degrees Fahrenheit, and as high as 500 degrees Fahrenheit for constant use, and 600 degrees Fahrenheit for intermittent use. It's a great solution for creating formed-in-place gaskets to replace conventional paper and cork gaskets. Some typical uses include automotive applications, ductwork gaskets, oven, furnace, and appliance door gaskets, and wire and cable insulation, but it's also suitable for a wide range of other uses.

The single-piece 10.2 oz. cylinder fits all standard caulking guns, while the removable nozzle makes it easy to clean and allows reuse after the tube is opened. See the infographic for a full list of compatible building materials, other common applications, and regulation compliances.
