This unit features electronic controls that are so easy to operate, even your newest employees will have no trouble using them! Three temperature setpoints ranging from 122-212 degrees Fahrenheit allow you to steam, warm, and boil your products with the simple push of a button. During off-hours, you can set the unit to low power mode, which saves energy and lowers utility costs. For your convenience, this Hatco food well comes with one inset and one lid. What is the difference between a warmer and a rethermalizer?

Warmers are designed to hold food that has already been heated to the appropriate serving temperature of 150 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. Rethermalizers, on the other hand, reheat chilled foods through the HACCP "danger zone" to a safe serving temperature within a controlled timeframe. To meet industry acceptance criteria, rethermalizers must be capable of heating contents from 40-165 degrees Fahrenheit within 120 minutes and maintaining a temperature of 150 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.
