When working with chemicals or other hazardous materials it is vital that you have a solution for direct exposure. With the Guardian Equipment GBF1672 recessed emergency shower with horizontally mounted exposed shower head, you can greatly reduce potential workplace injury and protect workers from irreparable harm. If exposure occurs, just simply pull on the "panic bar" located in a recess mounted cabinet and the shower will begin pouring water until it is returned back to closed position.

This unit comes with a wall flange for horizontally mounting in a finished wall. An ANSI-compliant identification sign is included for clear direction on operation. The shower head is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and has a 20 GPM flow control. The panic bar is connected to a chrome plated brass stay-open ball valve that will keep the shower head on as long as it is in the downward position. This unit has a 1" NPT female supply inlet.
