Details
For a flavorful and convenient addition to your breakfast menu, rely on these Grand Prairie scrambled eggs! Made with real whole eggs, this scrambled egg product has all the great taste and wholesome nutrition your customers crave without the time-consuming work of preparing from scratch. These eggs are perfect for serving in a breakfast burrito, on a plate with hash browns, sausages, and toast, or as a classic option at your breakfast buffet. Plus, this easy-to-prepare product makes it simple to offer scrambled eggs in your establishment!
Because these eggs are fully cooked, all that's left for you to do is reheat and serve! To prepare in an oven, remove the eggs from the refrigerator, taking care not to open the bag or knead or break the eggs. Add 4 oz. of water to a 1/2 size chafer pan and place the bag seam-side down in the water. Place the chafer pan in an oven preheated to 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes or until the eggs reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 seconds. Using hot pads, hold the bag at the top seam, then break the contents in a downward fashion against the counter top, repeating no more than 2-3 times. To prepare your scrambled eggs in the microwave, place an unopened bag of eggs in the microwave and heat on high heat for 4 minutes. Remove the bag from the microwave and knead gently, taking care not to open the bag. Place it back in the microwave and heat for an additional 3-4 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. When you're ready to serve, spray a chafer pan with non-stick spray, then carefully open the bag and transfer the eggs to the pan. Use a wire whisk to "chop" the eggs until they are approximately the size of a nickel. With (10) 2 lb. pouches of eggs per case, you can be sure that you'll always have eggs on hand when you need them!
