Golden Barrel Organic Cane Sugar - 50 lb.

Honestly, I absolutely love this sugar and would prefer to use it for all of my baked goods and beverage needs but I cannot justify the cost to ship it. If it was available via plus free shipping, I would absolutely buy this instead of the regular sugar that I get from my local supplier. But, if you are looking for a Webstaurant sourced sugar, this one is FANTASTIC for the price. The shipping it the only reason why we don't buy it more consistently.

We like this sugar and love that it also is vegan but honestly considering shipping it is a little pricey. I had to find a better option for our business.

Bakers choice. Excellent sweetener for creme brulee, when you need the golden rich molasses flavor. Best sugar for producing our Lavender simple Syrup as well.

We use a lot of sugar and I really hate running out. This is by far the best value I've seen for organic cane sugar.

We have been very impressed by this sugar; love that it is organic and it tastes great in cooking, baking, adding to cereal, and even making hummingbird nectar and also bee syrup for our beehives. It's a nice darker color than typical bleached white sugar so the nectar and syrup made with it is a yellowish color.

I like how cheap this sugar is. It's a great use to have something so cheap, and I love the fact that you can use it without sacrificing quality.

In 2024 I purchased the 50lb bag and it was perfect. The graulation was not too small but not too big either. I ordered just last week and this time I recieved a different bag and a totally different sugar. It was like powdered sugar. When I reached out I was informed that this could happen and the granulation was subject to change depending on how it was processed. Unfortunately thay is not listed anywhere. I will commend Webstaurantstore for handling the situation. I just wish this information was ready available.

I love this sugar. I buy quite a bit because I do an exceptional amount of baking and store it in 5 gallon pails. It stores well in bags or in containers and have never had a bag damaged in shipping. This sugar is very affordable and its organic. I always add a bag or two to every big order I place.

Awesome product. I use it as regular granulated sugar in my baking recipes and it still turns out great. I also grind it and turn it into powder sugar/confectioners sugar!

This is a good sugar with a fine grain. The taste is clean and sweet . If organic is important to you this is a good product, however for me, the taste is very different from regular sugar and not worth the cost difference.

We only use organic cane sugar. Golden Barrel is a very good brand and I used to purchase it from the manufacturer however the price at Webstaurant is just as affordable. It is a golden tasty sugar that adds a lot of flavor to baked goods and coffee.

Good quality sugar, but super granulated. Can be great for mostly all baking but for some recipes it might not work. Anyways, great price for the quantity

This sugar is amazing, it tastes wonderful and rich and for the price it is incredible. This is the most affordable and best tasting cane sugar and makes all of our house made syrups taste fantastic.

One of the better and consistent organic sugars that is reasonably priced. This organic sugar taste great and bakes great. The color of the sugars may be different each time you purchase the sugar. The sugars may have a light beige to light brown color gradient. This is normal and should not be a concern. I have been using this sugar for a year now and have had no problems.

We recently learned that most sugar is whitened with bone char. Not this one! We've switched and our customers are happy for it. Just like regular cane sugar, except you can feel a little better about it.

I was suprised on how big the bag of sugar was to carry. The package was sturdy enough to handle the weight. I recommend storing the sugar into an air tight container.
