The Garrett PD6500i 32 1/2" walk-through gray metal detector is extremely practical. Its multi-brand compatibility allows it to be added to existing checkpoints without the need to replace unit of other brands. Its 2300 operating frequencies and multiple channels assist with this compatibility. It can detect a large variety of metal objects, including ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel, contraband, and metallic items. Its analyzation across such a broad range of frequencies creates greater accuracy and its heightened discrimination leads to fewer false alarms. This metal detector can be calibrated both automatically and manually. Its 33 independent detection zones can accurately identify the vertical and horizontal locations of multiple items on a person passing through. This walk-through metal detector has over 20 standard program settings, all designed to address the needs of a variety of settings and applications. All settings are secured with two levels of access codes and a key lock, preventing unauthorized access and making this detector tamper-proof. This unit has a directional counter with four different settings - forward only, reverse only, subtract in reverse, and bidirectional.

This unit is self-calibrating, meaning it uses digital microprocessor technology to eliminate the need for periodic sensitivity adjustments. This ensures that it is always accurate and effective. It also features a momentary push button that can temporarily eliminate detection of ambient metal, further improving accuracy. It can be optimized for any setting and situation by using a secure internal adjustment to adjust its sensitivity. The casing of this metal detector is rugged, high-impact, and durable.

This package includes transport casters that are compatible with the Garrett PD6500i walk-through detector. These casters allow the detector to be easier to transport. This added mobility is extremely convenient and makes the walk-through detector even more versatile. Also included in this package is an integrated 14Ah lithium battery. This battery is ideal for portable applications where the battery is the primary power source. It has a red status light that indicates whether the battery fully charged or in the process of charging. It includes a quick change bracket that allows faster battery replacement. This requires a 3/8" wrench. This battery is recommended for high usage application up to 2000 charge cycles and allows 10 hours of operation per full charge. The Garrett wireless sync SM 100 allows remote operation of multiple Garrett PD6500i units at once.
