I bought this unit after previously buying one with the 1/4" size dicer. It is durable and the larger cutting surface allows to dice more vegetable in one chop.

So, the product itself is great quality! Very sturdy - hand wash only. The only problem (but maybe because I've never owned a dicer) is that the pieces that are going to be diced need to be cut into smaller pieces. Example - I want to dice roma tomatoes. So i cut the tomatoes in half and then use the dicer, but they aren't prefectly cut - some bits are longer than other. I learned that we have to cut it again/certain way to make sure you get that 'diced' shape you're looking for. The quality is great though - if you cut your produce correctly. Washing it can take some time. I run a knife or toothpick through the plastic head to get tomato and onion that are stuck in there.

The onion slice cutting out it turn very watery too, the products sound lot better on the website, it is not the same when i use it.........

I liked how it worked the first 2 weeks. By the third week the badges were bent and as of yesterday one of the blades has come out. Also two of the rubber feet have disappeared. I am sure some of the problems are due to misuse but not all as most of the employees are cutting the produce prior to even putting them in chopper. This was supposed to save labor hours but did not

It was a good product, but the white pieces pop off and get lost. This causes less safety with the bumper pieces and then you get plastic shavings in the product.

Works great! Huge time saver in the restaurant! Don't waste time dicing onions and tomatoes. Heavy enough to not have to put lots of pressure to cut the veggies.
