The build is very sturdy, but it's annoying to clean. When dicing onions, they get crammed between the black pusher "teeth". We have to use running water and a knife to dig all of the pieces out. It would be nice if there was an easiest way.

we liked the product but not laved it, you have to use a lot of strength just to get the onion though the cutter, it still works, but it is a little bit messy. still not 100% convinced.

I've used this machine for a long time now. The reason for the one star is because no matter what we do, we keep getting little black pieces of plastic in the food. I thought maybe the little black stoppers on the poles were wore out but that didn't fix the problem. I put new blades, a new pusher block.....NOTHING. I will NOT buy this again.

Very poor blade assembly. The blades are very flimsy and shift easily causing plastic shavings to be cut into the food. I purchased this to replace my Vollrath dicer as replacement blades were very costly, in the end I am sticking with Vollrath.

Purchased this 3 months ago. I was SO excited. However- the white plastic knobs on the handle have broken and in turn are now missing. I am struggling to find replacement parts for what is broken. Its difficult to move up and down, however I have purchased food safe grease to hopefully fix this. Wouldn't likely purchase this again... and wouldn't likely advise anyone to purchase it themselves. Very disappointed.

They are good and cheap, they serve their purpose.
We dice a lot of onions, and this unit does help with the task but there are some drawbacks. As others have noted; it will shift as you push the plate onto the cutter and shave plastic into your food and it’s hard to clean. It’s better than cutting with a knife by hand, though.

This item is good, but the press component of the dicer is missing two of the white inserts to keep the press stable when you dice the vegetable. I wish I had those pieces, otherwise this piece of equipment would work well.

It's a great dicer and it fits perfectly inside of 1/2 size steam pan. It did leave some black plastic bits in the food when it was used, but after a few slams it seems to "shave" the excess plastic off of the pusher block and it's no longer an issue. I've used it multiple times now and there is no plastic in the food. It speeds up prep time by a lot. It's annoying to clean, but I just take a wooden stirrer stick and just run it through all of the "valleys" in the pusher block until everything is out and then throw the stick away. It's build solid.
