Garde Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Rotary Food Mill with 3 Sieves - 5 Qt. Capacity

Very disappointed with this 5qt mill. Using to process mostly Roma and San marzano sauce tomatoes. Reviewers had touted that this product could process raw tomatoes. It cannot - we tried sliced, halved, whole. Nothing but tomatoes spinning around. Learned that tomatoes must be cooked for about 10 minutes before this mill would even begin producing juice/sauce. While blanching or “cooking” might be normal, I purchased this product because reviews said it would process raw, ripened fruit.

This mill is absolutely terrible. Only the juice goes through. Nothing else. The canned tomatoes just spin in the hopper. Very disappointed.

This mill came with very poor welds. The baskets have sharp whiskers because the welder was moved when the metal was cooling. It cut me when I was washing it before the first use. It’s a safety issue.

Very disappointed, ultimately this food mill is junk. The Sieves don't stay in place well. And is already cracked. The rotary blade is already bent out of place. Just poor quality. Received this item on 9/11/24 so barley a month of once daily use.

The best in the west
