Garde 6090 Large Handheld Crank Can Opener

I am on my 4th can opener. We open 15 #10 cans a week, and this can opener will last about a month. Maybe it isn't designed for large cans, but why would it be for sale on web restaurant. I keep buying these and smaller versions and local stores, Does anyone know of a good can opener out there? Its really silly when you think about it. Wasting time,because i can't get the cans open.

Did last only about 5 sweet sweet months. Then, to our great dismay, it no longer had the strength to gain us much needed access to our canned goods.

i bought this for a team member who has dyspraxia. it's very user friendly. easy to clean and durable. I love it

As a senior chef, limitations are fast approaching. One has been eliminated with this incredible tool. It uses very little strength and opens every can you can give it. So efficient, use to clean and easy to store. A must for any hand strength user but SUPER for us older generation.

I was not impressed with this time bit is not made to open #10 cans. The handle breaks easily and the Gears strip out after a few uses

This can opener looks tough but NOT . Not recommend at all . Broken on first day when using on #2 can . It make by some kinda metal with plated stainless steel .

Barely got through a few weeks of light work before failing to grab and open cans anymore. The worst opener I've ever had the misfortune to purchase. Don't waste time or money on this crap

Large amd heavy! Just like I wanted. The lightweight don't last, so now we have a REAL opener!

Within a couple months they stopped being sharp enough to cut through #10 cans

What a great alternative to the huge table can openers. This one is light weight and very easy to use. Opens all cans easily even the big #10 cans. Well built.

Not going to lie, this handheld crank is kind of a pain. Although i got it to work most of the time, depending on the can it could cause issues. I am use to the ones you cut on the side. Does not rust in water too easily which is nice. Lightweight and very durable.

This can opener works very well. It is sharp and easy to turn even on large 10 pound cans. I have ordered several because they do wear out after continuous use.

Opener cuts well but the can just dragged on my wooden counter top. Putting the can on a 12" shelf carousel made the process a snap.

If you have ever tried to open a #10 can with a regular crank, kitchen can opener you know how important this little baby is! We used it to open 14 of them the other day and it was a breeze!! WIsh I had purchased it sooner!
