We have been using the previous vendor from Webstauraunt for over 5 years and loved them. Still work great, but can't get new inserts anymore, so I bought these to replace. We had the first one I open, not work and I have used the other two for the first time last night. The outside gets extremely hot, so it is dangerous if anyone touches it. I cooked it the exact same way that I have done with the previous ones and it burnt the meat completely. I believe it gets much hotter than it says. The previous brand was Proctor Silex. and i would look for that somewhere else if you need something like this.
